Home from Belize
I just got home from Belize last night. I had a team of 21 people from all the different L & T campuses. It was amazing!! We fed hungry children, passed out almost a thousand Christmas boxes, did three church services, ate with a Spirit-filled Mennonite family in their home, saw Mayan ruins, went to a butterfly reserve, had daily devotions together (very emotional), and saw the new building in progress on our 50 acres there. Our waitress where we ate every day came to knkow Jesus while we were there. We are exhausted, but excited!
I had no hot water, a huge lizard that lived in my sink, and the jungle was about six feet behind my cabin. I had quarter-inch cracks in the floor that you could see the ground through, and freezing temps in the mornings. It was awesome!

Sherri, I am so glad that God is able to use all of you in powerful, life-changing ways like this. Thanks for being clay in the Potter's hands.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
