Shoeboxes for Belize
We ordered 528 plastic shoeboxes to fill for kids in Belize for Christmas. As of this morning, we only have about 40 left! I'm so excited!! 
We just bought a school bus which some of the guys will drive to Belize in December (or late November), full of the shoeboxes and lots of building supplies. Eddie won't let me ride the bus down through Mexico and Guatemala (can't figure out why!!), but I will try to fly down and meet them, along with some other women. I can't wait to see the faces on these kids when we hand out these boxes!

One question...why are they driving through Guatemala on the way to Belize? It will be MUCH easier to just stay in Mexico, as Peten (the northern part of Guatemala) doesn't have very many good border crossings, especially for a bus. I did this exact route in June.

LOL! I have no idea; this is just what I was told. I haven't even looked at a map. So exactly how would you go from Memphis down to Belize?

Well, there are not a whole lot of ways to do it Just follow the Gulf of Mexico - Guatemala is a little south and out of the way, unless they have another reason for going there.
