Freeze Dried Foods

Here is a link to a web site where they sell "freeze dried foods" stuff that will keep for years & can be used in an emergency such as a devastating hurricane,
earthquake, or just a general economic collapse.
The Bible is rife with the wisdom of animals storing up food for the upcoming winter.

We could learn a thing or two from them.

Re: Freeze Dried Foods

I have tried some of the MRE meals the military has. They are surprisingly tasty!

It might be good for an emergency, but.............

Ground Beef Patties are raw and must be cooked after rehydration. They cook very quickly, about 1 minute per side.
Pork chops are raw and only need to be cooked for about 45 seconds per side.
Chicken is precooked. Just add hot water, wait 5 - 10 minutes and presto, fresh, cooked chicken.
Cottage Cheese is made creamy by adding cold water. Wait 20-30 minutes and it is ready to serve.
Cook Dehydrated Eggs in your favorite omelette or enjoy scrambled. These eggs are the finest dehydrated egg I have ever eaten and they work very well in baked goods too.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
