I would say that this person should read their Bible daily and pray and perhaps a Minister from a local church could contact this person and visit them from time to time and yes I believe God can keep this person saved.
Maybe too some videos from a church that tapes their services could be sent to this person or some audio tapes.
If this person can have a CD player then they should listen to the Bible on CD.

What say ye?

without reading through all the other posts I say if he was really sincere wanting to stay saved God would make a way, like putting him in the same cell with another that was like him but was already in carcerated for like 20 years but and is still saved.

My wife has recently been asked to sing and share God's love in a prison for female inmates, through one of the connections from the ABC Wife swap episode.
Please pray God's will in this and that his name be glorified.

What's wrong with hypotheticals? This particular one is not far fetched, at all. If prisoners in the US have certain rights, what about other countries and other times? I'm sure it has happened many times, that a Christian is put into prison, perhaps unjustly (or justly!), and isolated from any contact with believers or Bibles etc.

Might be a good reason to memorize the Word.......
