Prison Ministry

We had an awesome time in service tonight. The Spirit was moving from the very beginning of service. After the alter service we baptized two inmates in Jesus Name.

The Lord has been blessing our services. Over the last 4 weeks (not including tonight) we've baptized 6 inmates. Tonight our attendance was a little down with only 28 inmates in services, but after the alter call we baptized 6 tonight.

God is surely merciful and gracious!

Glad to hear a good report. Prison ministry is one of the most challenging and rewarding ministries ot be involved in, IMO.

There are 3 or 4 guys from our prison that have gotten out in the last 6 months and have been doing well in our Grace house homeless shelter. It is very rewarding to see God's effect in these men's lives.

We plant and water but God gives the increase!

We had another great service at Detention Center #3 last night.
Two men were baptized and several received the Holy Ghost.

One inmate told me he needed to talk to me after service. This is not unusual as I try to listen and give good Godly advice when I can. After service he came and told me, Bro. Dan I had a dream this morning, I was in church with you and your son and man was church a happening, people were really getting with it. It scared me a little as I have never seen anything like that. One old white haired man was stand on his seat worshiping, when he had a walker he should have been using.

He dreamed of a shock-a-mo service and had never been in one from what he related to me. What do you make of that?

He plans on attending POA with his wife and children when he gets out. Maybe I better start looking for a white haired man with a walker to seat by.....

Another inmate told me that he and some others had formed a prayer group and that the officials were letting them meet to pray. Ain't God Great!!!!!
