Ok but who said quote unquote what you said above? You interjected that statement into this thread. No Apostolic I know would say such things. That's against the Apostolic Doctrine, the Gospel. That's that catch all stuff people try to throw out at people who say you can live right, to throw off what's really being said. You got that out of a once saved always saved baptist tract 101! Lol

But that's all I gotta say about that... Going on now..lol This thread will go on forever, no headway ever going to be made here. I've learned my lesson, already. Once you get started, you will not give in. Your favorite song is Tom Pettys "I won't back down" Aquila that is your Theme song...

The statement wasn't directed at anyone in particular. My hope is that we all can agree on that truth. For one can adhere to any number of regulations, and be void of Christ's love.

Re: Sinless Perfection

So for 30 some odd pages Tequila O'Neil tried to run the court screaming "only hypocrites promote deliverance from sin" and now at the last quarter he's switching jerseys and claiming sinless perfection is necessary... while tossing out all the disclaimers that allow him to brag online about eating Wheaties in the buff with Bruce Jenner cheering him on.

Good grief.

I know it's difficult for you to follow.

The first part of the game, I discussed how sin is more than an act, it is also a state of being, and a law in our members to be resisted through mortifying the flesh through the Spirit.

Mid-game, I questioned those believing in law keeping for perfection regarding what laws to obey, because they pick and choose.

Last quarter, I'm sharing my perspective. The principles and spirit of the whole law is kept through putting on Christ, and living a Spirit led life by the Law of Christ (Love God/Love Others).

As it is written:

"For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." ~ Galatians 5:14

There's no sin in eating breakfast in the beauty of the marital covenant... whether attired in Edenic innocence or dressed to the nines. In fact, in either case, any meal alone with one's mate can be intimate, tender, and loving.

But to the defiled, all things are defiled. For their very conscience is seared by the sin their own perversions.

Not hard if one has been paying attention. Vintage Aquila. It's a game. Nothing posted should be taken at face value. It's either hyperbole, devil's advocate or some other clever-by-half ploy or, as you posted, "game."

This is typical. You state a position, then within 10 or 20 pages of debate, you've pretzel'd yourself into an entirely different position.

Key term being "marital covenant." Did that ever get sorted out? You had that Quaker thing. But then you started calling her your fiance again because she wanted more than the Quaker thing. Was there an actual marital covenant, or was it just co-habitation pretending to be a marital covenant?

This is the "controversy they like?" Guys mark this down, cat's are falling out the bag today. I knew you did this, but I was giving you the benefit of the doubt you didn't psychologically do this on purpose. Now, I know you do, I will deal with it accordingly "Tequila O'neil the Apostolic Dr. Phil!"

As Brother Esaias said "Chris you need a old fashioned altar, because the one on Google isn't working!" I totally agree...
