Re: Romney Supporters

You see...we got the vote for the lesser of two evils last time...

...and the time before that when we got Bush and Kerry....

Need I go on?

In my opinion, he doesn't have a chance.
I am so tired hearing this same diatribe. Romney passed Romneycare in Mass. An insanely liberal state that WANTED the mandated healthcare nonsense. It was Romney's job to follow and represent the will of the people. Isn't that one of our biggest gripes? That our government doesn't obey the will of those who elect them? Well...Romney did and gave the people of Mass. what they wanted.

He has also said about a million times now that the country as a whole doesn't want it, so he would overturn it. So you think he obeyed the will of the people in one place, but would ignore it in another?

Some of you cry about conservatism conservatism but would have been the same ones who attacked Reagan when he was running. After all, Reagan was from a leftist state, a former Democrat and considered by a great many to be a moderate Republican. Turns out he was the best President we've ever had and was in truth very conservative, despite the fact that when he ran California he followed the will of those people and went along with many non-conservative policies.

Re: Romney Supporters

Don't you find it remotely strange that our upcoming presidential election is two potential candidates, both with insurance care passed bills under their belt, pitting against each other?

Re: Romney Supporters

What makes Romney supporters think that Romney won't backpedal or renege on any campaign promises? I've seen it happen with each past election as far as I can remember.

Re: Romney Supporters

If you think, that BO and MR are anywhere close to the same, you are not thinking and not listening. Every election is voting for the best choice available, no candidate is perfect, they are all human. Vote for Romney, and keep giving input to things that are important to you, if enough people do that, it will have an impact.

Re: Romney Supporters

I am thinking. I am listening. I hear no good reason to vote for Romney.

I likewise understand no candidate is perfect...but Romney has been in politics a long time. He does not understand the plight of the American people any more than Obama does. They are both out of touch.

Re: Romney Supporters

Ok I have been saying I will not vote for Romney. Since the latest mass murder in Colorado I heard that Mitt resisted the call for more gun control. If he stands firm on that and if he appoints a good VP like Rick Perry or Rick Santourem I MIGHT vote.

I had a dream today that gives me concern that something will turn up about Mitt that will cause things to go ill for him. Dont know if it was from the Lord will have to wait and see.

Absurd question.

Romney is a successful business person who understands how free enterprise and capitalism work. Obama is a community organizer who has never held a job in the private sector.

Obama seeks to lead America further towards socialism while Romney does not.

Obama will seek to appoint supreme court judges and other federal judges whose views on the constitution are extremely liberal. It is a ........ shoot appointing any judge but at least with a Republican appointing them you have a chance of them ending up conservative where you are guaranteed they are liberal if a Democrat does. Keep in mind all of these federal judicial appointments are for life.

Those are just the tip of the iceberg in differences.

I really think your question is extraordinarily childlike. If you honestly don't see significaant differences between these two candidates and their philosophies I really don't know what to say other than I am shocked at your lack of intellect.

Is Mitt as conservative as I would like? Of course not. Is he a lot more conservative that Obama? You bet your sweet bippy!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
