The only real reason the economy is down the dumps is because we buy all our stuff from China.

Walmart is the problem.

If we don't put our own people back into the manufacturing sector, we will continue to support China, and North America will go further down the drain.

It's that simple!

We can't afford to buy American made.
Many businesses can no longer operate at a profit in the US because of regulations, taxes, wages, etc. It is cheaper to produce something in another country and bring it here than to produce it here.

There are a couple ways this could be fixed.
1) Bring the costs of manufacturing including wages, benefits, etc in the US down to the level of the third world countries so we can compete in price.
2) Add an import "tax" to everything coming in from another country so its cost is higher than if it were made in the U.S.
3) Another solution is for the other countries to add regulations and requirements for wages to the businesses in their country so their goods would cost Americans more than we would pay for American made stuff.

That is an AMAZING point!
We must put Americans back to work.

THe temptation is to buy our goods as cheap as possible, but I would be willing to pay more for my every day food and products if I knew for sure that my money was actually supporting AMERICANS.

Encouraging a global economy is awesome, but now when it is at the detriment of our own local economy!

Didn't the President just come up with a job creation thingamajig that was touted by both parties a s a real good thing?


To read some of your posts, it would appear that the consistent, private sector job growth our country is experiencing would be lost on you. Sure we're not growing by leaps and bounds, but we are going in a positive, in the right direction.
