Iphone 4.0...anyone else order it?

My wife calls them my toys. If I go to Apple Store and come in with something she asks where did you get that? How much did it cost?

But, if I use one of the gift cards given to me by my kids she never says anything. She asks, I respond I got it with a gift card. She says nothing.

Now I'm going to Apple and buying myself gift cards. When she ask about a purchase I've made I just say, "Oh, I got it with a gift card!"

I figured some things out over the past 48 years.

I do it every so often.
Norm Paslay pastors a church about 2-3 miles from here. I've been there a few times for funerals, etc. My wife has some family members there. Her Mom went there while she was alive. There are some good people there.

I first met Norm Paslay when he was about a year old. He was called "Norman R" back then. His parents, Norman and Mary Alice Paslay, were pastors at the First Apostolic Church here in Cincinnati. Bro. Frank Curts was senior pastor and had been since 1920 or so.

In 1968, Bro. and Sis. Paslay and a group of people left First Apostolic Church and formed their own congregation which is now Calvary Church. Bro. Curts appointed Bro. Leroy Buller as his asst. pastor. We weren't going there so we don't know what all went on there at the time.

FAC now has Joel Urshan as pastor and Calvary Church now has Norm Paslay as pastor and they are both UPC. The ALJC church where we went from 1963-1978 is now a UPC church pastored by Bro. Hendricks. As far as I know, all 3 UPC churches here are now in fellowship with one another.

Some times it's best to say, "Oh, I've had that for a while now" even though the "while" might be just a few minutes or hours.

No, I'm going to let my free phone from Sprint suffice for now and all that money I could waste on new techno phones, I'm giving to missions and feeding the poor.
