This post was very moving...

So how far is this move? Smaller, bigger, better?

Hope you feel better soon and have a smoothe move.

ILG, I sure hope you start feeling better soon!

I honestly cannot imagine someone else packing and unpacking all my stuff - - ugh!

BUT....at least you have them to do it for you! Hope it all goes smoothly too!

Sorry about your health, ILG!! I wouldn't mind people packing if they would put everything in designated boxes.

Praying you get better really soon!

Very funny, Steve!!

We are moving to a house that is about the same size but it has 11 acres, 8 of them wooded. It is 25 minutes out from where we are now so we have been moving a little here and a little there. The big move is this weekend. I am not sure how I am going to feel about the 25 minute drive to work, I have never commuted before. My husband has commuted and I have talked to others who have and they say they actually enjoy the drive....

This house had been a foreclosure (and is actually a nicer house than the one we are in now, but the same size) and actually cost us LESS than the one we are in now. So, in the end, as long as we get a good price on the one we are in now, should be quite a good sum ahead in the long run. Being the resident tightwad, you know how happy THAT should make me.

I have a garden tilled up but nothing in it yet! I have been too weak to even get up there and put a couple seeds in the ground, so I don't know if I'll get much. But, the soil in the house we are in now is like sand and NOTHING grows in it. (Okay, hostas and trees and spindly grass grows in it).

Also, there are lots of berry bushes. I would like my Dad to come up and show me if there are any Maple's to tap come spring.

Thanks, Renda. It is tough to just sit back and let go. I don't have much other choice. All I can do is try my best to smile and not get grouchy about it. My daughter said packing my stuff is scary and she doesn't want to. LOL! But, everybody knows it has to get done. So we are all stuck. I am glad there are people who will help out! My Mom is coming tonight. She has helped a lot with cleaning the new house and everything. (Of course she is delighted....this house is closer to hers!!)

But, if you didn't have the energy to UNPACK those boxes, they would also be unpacking them. Sigh.

I am planning to take a chemistry class this fall so I have been watching pre-algebra, algebra and chemistry videos!! At least then I feel this is not an entire waste.

Please keep me in prayer. I am scared about next month. The Dr. thinks it may not happen again but there is the possibility. I have a trip to Canada at the end of July too!!

I sure will keep you in prayer!

I'll also pray for you that you have to watch algebra and chemistry. I'll send you a good movie!
