A few - - I'll start the search back up again. There's a lot of homes for sell by owner, so I'll drive around and collect those phone numbers. I like to try those first because you can get a better deal.

I would suggest calling a buyer's broker. We used one (and they do not charge and then get half the sales commission when you buy....check out the rules in your area). Our buyers broker saved us a TON of trouble and found us a GREAT DEAL on a house. We were going to buy some land but it was her that questioned the driveway access and it saved us a ton of time and money as she was right...the access was not right. And then, she sent us list of homes weekly to choose from. The house we bought was a lot under market value even in this market!

I know that is true, it must still be disappointing!
There may have been nothing wrong with it, perhaps God is testing your attitude with not allowing you to have it?

I'm so sorry it didn't work out. I've enjoyed reading about your journey through this. Getting to see the items you were picking for the house. ( and all of Pressing-On's contributions also. LOL ) I too, believe if it was meant to happen it would have. I agree, God must have something better for you. Can't wait to see what house God has for you!!

Sometimes, he also does it when it is a house as nice as the one you were looking at is.
I remember 5 years ago I got a job at a much lower wage than I normally got while still putting resumes out in the field I have experience in.
A HR person called my cell when I was at work one day saying they wanted to see me.
I had the cell phone off so they left a message.
It was a dream job, Warehouse Supervisor/Lead Hand for a large Printing company with great pay & benefits.
We could not connect so alas, I did not get it.
I was very disappointed & a little perturbed!
"God, I am making little money it is hard to make ends meet--Why?"
2 years later, the company went belly up!
God knows!
I pray the Lord directs you to a blessing!

I agree, but I'm not so sure he "tests our attitude".......I just take it as a block for a reason I might not understand, but I trust God!
He already knows I've given it to him.
