Don't hold your breath. Wendy prophesied Jesus was going to make a personal physical appearence in Lakeland.

True, and you can bring in the sexual proclivities of Paul Cain, Bob Jones and I am sure if you dig there are more that are close to Lakeland that have skeletons.
BUT.....AND THIS IS A HUGE BUT.....
If they repented of the past....you know the rest.
There is plenty of current day things that you can discuss. I think he was high level religious witchcraft, considering his stage performance, the tatts etc.

EXACTLY!
I heard several people quote that very scripture in connection with TB. And the "false anointed ones" has been preached before. Now that DV is gone, he cannot post that Branham has a sermon by the same title, "false anointed ones of the endtime."

What do you think about the Word Network. I love the gospel music and I think our African American Bros. like Patterson and Morton can generally preach better than most of the TV preachers.

Re: Thoughts on Todd Bentley and Lakeland
the thing that gets me is so many peeps on this forum supported bently. Does it not seem that each time apostolics cross the line and supported or get mixed up with charismatics, that the most usual result is they end up getting burned? Despite our shortcomings as a movement, we overall have a much higher moral integrity and realness about us. Our problems are arguing over small, non essentiels, where as the charismatic movement seems to be filled with fakes, fonies, or money hungry properity preachers (which if they don't destroy themselves, the US senate seems bent on exposing them-rightfully so.) Also, it seems that at least half of our problems as a movement come wen we try to imitate the charismatic movement.
We ought to be what we are, "Apostolic", and quit trying to be anything else. We are not of them, they are not of us. (that is not to say here are no good or sincere charismatics, but the large majority are obviously not yielding fruit.)

Nice.
Just disagree and leave it alone. You are not...and none of us are totally above contempt individually or collectively.
I would say this if you were hammering the preacher I mentioned above too....if you knew him by name of course, which you don't and it proves I am not supporting or making excuses or holding any individual in contempt!!!!!!!

However, I do believe that Walmart is a tool of a pagan devil.

Earth to Poster - - - these things go on in UPC too. They go on in every organization; you only hear about the big guys who fall. There are gazillion good guys out there, yes even in the Charismatic world, who have good morals and integrity that you never hear about because they don't make the news.
