Re: Interesting Article from a Conservative Aposto
PLEASE go to YouTube.com and type in The Obsolete Man on Twilight Zone in the youtube search engine. The entire episode is in 3 parts. Insert grace giver for librarian while you watch it. That is what I thought of when I read this thread. I won't expound anymore. Just watch all 3 parts to the end. Think of what you will for the State.

StMark, I do not have time now to post them. Follow the directions above and you can view the clips. Oh, and sometimes "grace" might be substituted in the dialogue for the word "God" when used by the State. You'll know the section in the first part if you think "grace giver" first for librarian. After reading this thread the Ole FringeNutter thought of this ole episode and went to youtube to see if it was there and it was.
I say we stop the fighting and pray for those we do not agree with.

I remember that episode, I thought it quite pertinent, as well. I just can't remember the details!

Re: Interesting Article from a Conservative Aposto
sigh....
If i had been around, I would have asked the thread be deleted.
first, it attacks a poster on this forum that we all love.
second, it names a pastor that is well respected in pentecostal circles (execpt the ones who dont like the UCPI)
third, the content would have gotten any number of posters banned had they posted some of this stuff on AFF.
tragic.

Re: Interesting Article from a Conservative Aposto
Well, I just saw this thread. I'm still in Kenya and the internet time is very expensive, so I don't have time to read most of it. I don't even know if I want to read it. I am pretty shocked and hurt at the things that my first cousin said about my family on that other forum. He said my sister and her husband are backslidden????? And indicated the same about us. I have always loved and upheld his ministry. I'm sorry that he can't do the same for us.
Ah well.....I have to go back to Nehemiah when he was building the wall and Sanballet and Tobias were giving him grief. He just said "I'm doing a good work and I can't come down". God knows our hearts.
As for my brother, I love him and he's a fantastic preacher. I'm sure if he preached a holiness message, it's because he was seeing a trend in UPC that he doesn't like and felt a need to address it. Did he have an agenda? I don't know......maybe someone should ask him instead of trashing him on a public forum. JMHO.
