Re: Interesting Article from a Conservative Aposto

Did we ever find out for sure what forum this was posted on?

Sounds like a "CAF" conversation...

Re: Interesting Article from a Conservative Aposto

CAF is great for the Pentecostal Apostolic movement! Granted there are some who call themselves Pentecostal Apostolic and over time prove their love for false doctrine and or its adherents (Tenney, Mangun, et al.). Nonetheless in a spirit of humility one is challenged to think no evil of another's motives unless of course the action resulted prove the motive as evil.

Let us go on into perfection while discarding both false doctrine and the insidious malfactorious leaders who themselves are clouds without water and reserved unto destruction.

Let's have revival!

Go figure, Pastor Poster thought I was a conservative.

Daniel and I are miles apart when it comes to technique, and as for other issues, we probably disagree on about everything.

But from where I sit his attitude most of the time is better than some whom I agree with doctrinally.

So, do you care to elaborate on which "False Doctrine" Tenney and Mangun are in love with?

I understand what you're saying. This kind of talk happens over the whole liberal to conservative scale. It's a shame.

Just a few comments:
  • Nobody is exempt from the tongues of those who sit in the seat of the scornful. We all have sat in that seat at some time. God help us to avoid that particular seat.

  • Men must take positions, establish doctrines, establish for themselves what they feel is truth and what is appropriate to holy living. This is proper and right. It's also proper and right, according to Scripture, to keep tongues and spirits under control. That's what walking in the Spirit is all about.

  • Paul and Peter didn't agree on everything but I think that for the most part they went about their business working for God and left the rock throwing for others.

  • I think it would be best if the initial post with accompanying link had never happened and agree with the basic and initial point RRFord was making.

Like I said, what I wrote applies across the whole liberal to conservative scale. There's bad attitude and strife across the whole spectrum. That's just a fact and makes sense because the whole spectrum is represented by "people".

I heard Bro Graham preach that message at LA campmeeting. Very refreshing.

So good to see you posting. Hope all is well with you and yours!
Dearest Sarah!

I listened to the message as well and I think you're right. I'm afraid the shooting and firing away at one another has been an ongoing problem but seems to be getting more severe as we get closer to the coming of the Lord.

Scripture says that evil will wax worse and worse in the end times. We're seeing that before our very eyes. This fighting and tearing one another to shreds of the ministry is evil far as I'm concerned.

Thank you! All is well!!!

I just started reading this thread, and I must say that the holiness standards Olympics is still alive and well!

It's actually very sad!
