Apologist? Asinine response.
Now, I see the comments about his pastor. And about his family But pray tell where does he ever state that SG had any of these issues? That was my point. It honestly seemed to be observations. I could be wrong in my assessment. I was merely saying what I read. Sorry you disagree.
Re: Interesting Article from a Conservative Aposto
From the article:
Bro. KM (Texas): “For those questioning why the firestorm is brewing: Click on About the Sanctuary, then click on staff. Look at his Men's Alliance Director. Then, click on Belong, then click on Music Ministry.”
Apparently, the men’s ministry leader, an African-American Brother, has a mustache. I guess this brother is going to spit hell wide open! I disagree with my conservative brethren on this issue. I don’t know what issue the brethren of this forum had with those in Bro. Graham’s music ministry.''
-----
When an Apostolic "man of God" thinks its ok to create a "firestorm" over the fact that another of God's children has a mustache, then something is terribly wrong.
This stuff must hurt the heart of God.
Such attitudes don't move the Apostolic church forward. On the contrary, they hold us back.

I honestly don't look at the "side" and decide what I'm going to say. I look at the actions and comment - doesn't matter which "side" it is.
Hmmm. Slamming these guys does not necessarily equate to defending the UPC from where I sit. But I reckon I do see how some of you could view it that way.

Let's all just eat one another... pass the salt please, Sister so-in-so is a little bland.... pass the milk please, Brother so-in-so is giving me heartburn.
A forum, posts a blog, that posted from a forum, that posted from...
Where does it stop?

Not slamming - just observation.

Dan,
BTW, take a good look at the last line of the first cousin's remarks. Very telling IMO. It says it all but you have to be willing to read it for what it actually seems to be saying..."There are many other factors that I could catalogue, but this sampling should give some idea of where we have come from.”
Seems to me the "we: is referring to him and his cousin. What say ye?

I haven't seen anybody "slamming" those who were truly slamming SG. Maybe I missed a post, but again- it seems your moral equivalence keeps failing, bro.

Context is everything ... and agree it's lacking here.
However, if anything it demonstrates contempt for his own heritage ... when he indicts the integrity of his own former pastor ... slams his family .... all to attempt to disassociate and SHOW WE'RE WE'VE COME FROM ...
and also ... apparently conveys need for approval by placing those in his immediate circle under the bus ...
He indicts himself in doing so also ... Scott and his loved ones just to be part of the club ... by providing more fuel to the fire.
