Man... I just couldn't agree to something like that.
Yo tambien!

But you're talking about the exercise of ethics in an area that I don't think it's even been demanded before - between a local pastor and his meal ticket. That's always been untouchable.

Bro,

What do You get if You marry a woman who "ran around' on her husband to be with You?

You get a wife who "runs around" on her husband.

Excellent point ... this clause, in the code of ethics, seems to be addressing this also.

The AS affirms the things written in the Articles of Faith.

Isn't this in the position papers, which is a separate section?

The code of ethics is indeed in the official position papers of the fellowship ... and used w/ frequency to decide ethical matters w/ in the org and taught in classes/seminars for ministerial ethics.

The AS affirms a minister's agreement to the Fundamental Doctrine ... which in addition to the Acts 2:38 position includes a stance of not contending towards the disunity of the brethren ....

The AS also affirms the AOF's Holiness position ...

To my knowledge, it does not affirm all the AOF.

So basically, the technicality that someone thought they found, comparing this to violating things affirmed by the AS, is bunk.

Cool.
