Let us not forget that Hillary Clinton started the whole "birther" movement, in effect. She was the one attempting to push that Obama wasn't a US citizen, so she could win the presidential nomination. It did not start with conservatives or even Republicans.

It's also why I don't buy that he's not a US citizen. We are speaking about the Clintons, after all. If there was evidence to be found, don't you think they would have been able to dig it up?

Very true. The only time O got serious about disclosure is when Donald Trump demanded to see it.

Still, no other President was ever forced to show their birth certificate. I don't like Obama but that born in Kenya stuff showed just how ignorant some in our party really are. Does anyone really think that the FBI or even the political powers that be would let a foreigner run for President? The whole thing was preposterous from the start!

Cruz unveils ObamaCare alternative

Cruz's plan is the most detailed, in that he has provided legislative text. The other plans are not yet formal legislation and have only been outlined in op-eds. Questions such as the size of the tax credits remain on the House chairmen's plan.

Cruz told The Hill on Monday that he is not ruling out supporting aspects of the other plans, including the temporary extension of ObamaCare plans. "I don’t want to prejudge that debate right now, I want to assess the options," he said.

While Cruz's bill does not fully repeal ObamaCare, he maintains that is the ultimate goal.

"Every last word of Obamacare must be repealed,” Cruz said in the statement. "And while we continue that fight, we must also send bill after bill to the president’s desk to stop its harmful effects."
