Remember that Jesus Christ's LOVE is unconditional!
His LOVE for you is not made solid by what you do or don't do.
He LOVES you because HE WANTS TO and HE WILL KEEP LOVING YOU because that's just the way HE is.
His LOVE for you has nothing to do with your sins, failures or good things.
His ACCEPTANCE of you, the man or woman you are, has NOTHING to do with your good days or bad days.
His LOVE is constant.
His ACCEPTANCE does not have to be earned.
His MERCY goes on FOREVEVER.
That means that he will stay with you as you fight, struggle with, and eventually overcome your addictions.
Jesus is not quick to leave you because He has invested too much in you to just walk away from you!
The Bible says that God is married to the backslider. So what makes you think HE is going to walk out on you? Here's a clue-- HE WON'T!
He said He would not leave you. He said He would not forsake you. And we KNOW that His MERCY goes on FOREVER!
If you gave birth to a child, or if you were a father of baby, is it possible for your baby to poop so much that it caused you to disown your baby?
Sin is just like poop. It is very messy and stinky. When your baby poops, the baby becomes messy and stinky. Do you throw your baby away because it is messy and stinky or do you clean your baby?
When your baby is stinky and you clean your baby, do you think that it will be the last time that you will have to clean your baby? Do you tell your baby, "I am only going to clean you ten more times but after that I am going to leave you in your mess?" That wouldn't make sense!
Do you think God is going to tell you that?
That wouldn't make sense either.
God is not telling you, "Ok Alex, I am only going to clean you up 100 hundred more times-- that means you only have 93 diapers left. I love you, but you better not make me run out of diapers, or else!"
God will not run out of diapers. He will always have enough diapers for your stinky sins and failures.
Let God CLEAN you-- over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...
His MERCY goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on...
