Question Book of Rev. mysterious.....

The Book of Revelation has always been a mysterious book to many, especially to professing Christians, there are those who teach that it (the Book of Revelations) was all fulfilled in 70 AD with the destruction of the temple by the Romans.
How could this be since Jesus has NOT returned to fight the "end time" world dictator (read Rev.17:12-14 and 19:11-21). In addition, it wasn't given to John until 90-96 AD, which was over twenty years after the Romans invasion of Jerusalem.

Lets look at Rev. 1:1 "The Revelation [means revelation] of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:"

The phrase "shortly come to pass" means: when a certain time period has been reached, the Book would come to life. When is that time period that "must come to pass?"

In Church history, Sylvester, a Bishop in 337 AD, declared that Sunday was the Lord's day. This pronouncement has been applied to the Book of Revelation. It is taught that the Book of Revelation was received in vision by John on Sunday.
This is not the case!! Notice the TIME SETTING for the Book of Revelation! Rev. 1:10 "I was in the Spirit ON the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet."

The preposition ON could have been translated on, at, by, or IN, according to that which designated a "period of time." The only preposition that designates a "time period" in IN!!! Verse 10 should have been translated "I was in the Spirit IN the Lord's day."
There are about 30 Old Testament prophecies that refer to the Lord's day. Each and every one is IN the final years leading up to the return of Jesus Christ to reign in Jerusalem for 1,000 years (Jeremiah 3:17-18 ; Rev. 20:4).

Be ready for the 'coming revelation'!!!!!!

Re: Book of Rev. mysterious.....

Not mysterious at all.

Since it is a highly spiritual book, it is closed to the carnally, or what is the same, naturally minded.

First chapter is given to identify to whom the book is written...i.e., God's servants. Within the same chapter, Jesus identifies himself...just in case anyone has any doubt. He also specifies where he is found...walking in and among the churches, the seven golden candlesticks.

After the first chapter in which Jesus specifies who he is and where he is, he then, for the next two chapters speaks to the seven churches of Asia which are the whole of the church universal, for all time, in the complex. Every church that has ever existed can be found somewhere, in part, if not in whole, within those two chapters. All but one is called upon to repent.

After Jesus identifies each of their specific situations, he then calls upon them to repent, specifying to each of them both rewards if they will repent, and speaking specific consequences if they do not repent, the 4th chapter then opens up with prepatory judgment of the churches as to their reaction to the messages to each of them. The question is then; to repent or not to repent...that's the question. This preparation continues on into the 5th chapter.

The sixth chapter then opens up depicting the vital declension of the church universal and individually from the most vital condition progressively on to the most death-like condition after which hell overtakes the church by which it is destroyed totally.

From that chapter onward is the progression of the church either evolving into a harlot church or that of the virgin bride of Christ who, in the end will be seen with him looking upon his face.

So, it is really not a mystery. Like all the rest of God's Word, the enemy of the church would have our attentions diverted away to some fantasy land laboring in the factories of fevered imaginations, leaving the rest of us to wonder what the carnal, or non-spiritual mind will manufacture next.

Not getting into another debate here, since we did this enough already. lol. But these points you make do not address what those who believe the bulk of Rev was fulfilled in AD70 are saying. Just so you know, our view proposes that the dictator you refer to was in effect at that time, as well. And internal evidence suggests Rev was written before AD70.

Re: Book of Rev. mysterious.....

Mystery Babylon is a Luciferian belief system that has weaved it's way down thru history and plays a signifigant role in end time prophecy.

Here is an excellent source of info on the history of the NWO and how the "Mystery Babylon" belief system has continued thru to modern times, it has been cloaked with many cover groups to hide their real beliefs from the general public, but they are close to realizing their Luciferian New World Order (the antichrist one world government prophesied in the Bible)

Note: the speaker (researcher William Cooper) was not an apostolic, and these web sites I found his archived broadcasts on are not apostolic, so it is understood we will not agree with their salvation and Godhead theology, but as far as his years of detailed and verified research on the NWO he is a good resource as far as that topic, now I may not totally agree 100% with every little point he made, but overall he seems to be very accurate on the NWO, probally at least 90% or more from what I have read/heard thus far.

Note: when listening to his broadcasts, keep in mind that he oftens reads research that shows the "Mystery Babylon" beliefs from their point of view, it may sound like he is saying it as if he believed that way, but occasionally he will remind his listeners that he is saying what they believe, not his belief.

He did a lot of other shortwave radio broadcasts over the years (before the NWO had him killed) but these here focus on a series he did on the history of "Mystery Babylon" - a total of 42 broadcasts.

These first links have MP3 files you can download and listen to, there is another web site (I included a couple of the links further below) where people have transcribed those broadcasts
into written words for those who prefer to read rather than listen.

(a couple of the transcribed broadcasts, the others are available on the same site below)

Also: Here is a link to an interesting article titled:

"Brilliant Overiew from Henry Makow: The NWO Conspiracy Summarized in Two Pages"

http://www.henrymakow.com/the_banker_conspiracy.html

(here are some other sites it is linked at also if the above link is not correct)

http://www.whale.to/b/satanist_banker_conspiracy.html

http://educate-yourself.org/cn/makow...y27oct08.shtml

Also: Here is a link to an interesting article about who "THEY" are -

http://www.texemarrs.com/122010/they.htm

For a general overview of the history of the NWO written by an apostolic minister here is a link to that page:

http://kenraggio.com/KRPN-DevilinNWO.htm

There is a lot more info available, but the above should fill in a lot of the missing puzzle pieces of the NWO "big picture" :-)

Re: Book of Rev. mysterious.....

Too long have we listened and considered the words of those who have not the Light of Life, He who is the Light of the World.

It is time we reject this whole world and all of it's clever schemes and turn to the divine, heavenly teacher, the gentle shepherd of the sheep, who never utters one word of error.
