Spolier Alert - - do not read if you want to watch the movie
good movie, post-apocalyptic times. Denzel has the only bible known to man. He is on a journey to find civilization. A killer wants the bible to control humanity. Finds out the bible that Denzel has is written in braile. Denzel finds a community on the west coast and recites the bible from memory in order to add it to the community library and rebuild civilization. Talks about the importance of the word.

Re: The Book of Eli
Dude, way to spoil the movie!! You needed a spoiler alert for that post.
If you read this before seeing the movie it takes a lot from the movie. These facts are revealed slowly throughout the movie.
It was certainly an interesting take on things.

Re: The Book of Eli
All you had to tell me was that Denzel was in the movie.

Re: The Book of Eli
I enjoyed it thoroughly. The fight scene in the shadows was pretty cool.
***Spoiler Alert***
I went to see this with a friend who is strict KJV only. Towards the end, when it was revealed that he was carrying the KJV, my friend nudged me and said, "See? Even they know it is the right one."
It was extremely humorous when the next shot showed them putting the NKJV version on the shelf. I chuckled, he did not. lol

That is funny. I noticed the NKJV too, I think it was intentional.
