Too Much Wine for the Old Wimmin???
I love today's scripture from Titus 2:3,
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
My question is, how much wine is too much wine for the the aged ladies?

Your highlight does seem to add a great deal of difficulty to the person who is 'dispensing' a view that wine in the scriptures did not involve fruit juice that had fermented.
In a world drunk on selling a young woman's appearance as an object for pleasuring the base things, with fornication often being the prize, the scriptures look to OLDER women as witnesses for the younger in a society that will be blessed of the Lord.

How much is too much?
When it goes beyond taking the "edge" off their "crotchetiness" and makes them want to kiss everyone!!! Ewwwwwwww!

Perceptive.
The aged ladies would not expected to be admonished concerning too MUCH fruit juice.

It depends how much it takes to make Sangria...oh wait we can use the
non alcoholic kind.It depends on what fancy party things we want to make.
Don't worry they could have ommitted that clause when you think
of the term WHINO a man always comes to mind.
BTW can I charge a hamburger today? I will gladly pay you Tuesday?
Oh wait maybe I can eat all the crackers with ketchup and drink water.
(face it the example of a public drunk has always been one of a man)
