Do you allow just anyone to lay hands on you?
So, laying on of hands...do you let just anyone lay hands on you? Why or why not? Have you ever had anyone lay hand so try to lay hands or know of someone it happened to, that was more about establishing dominance than ministry?
I know the Bible says to "Lay hands on no man suddenly."

I'd rather no one lay hands on me unless I'm requesting it, as in a prayer line.

impartation
if I don't want someone to lay hands on me I will step away from them
one time I saw I woman lay her hands on another woman's chest, I walked over and moved her hands off the woman's chest
my friend said she also didn't like what we saw but was surprised that I actually moved the woman's hands away, I said, the church can be sued for inappropriate touching.

Lay hands on no man suddenly means ordernation.
They were being instructed not to ordain just anyone.

Re: Do you allow just anyone to lay hands on you?
I have learned over the years to be discerning of who I want laying hands on me and who not. Not everyone "laying hands" has pure motives in mind. Some have spiritual issues that can be transferred through this. I'd rather have an elder, a minister, a pastor, or someone with some spiritual fruit and maturity, those who know how to get a prayer through. I'd also allow an elder brother or sister, those who have a proven testimony, and not some novice who I have not seen their fruit. I believe, and this would be a shot at me, if I had obeyed this mandate I would not have went through so much confusion and chaos in my spiritual life, because at one time, I wanted everyone who claimed to have the Holy Ghost lay hands and pray for me. Now, I know better.

Yeah that's what I just found out from a good elder preacher friend of mine I posed the same question to. I should have known that... Too much bacon I guess.

My wife was ministering to some young ladies, praying Sunday night. There was a family member that came up and tried laying hands on my wife and my wife removed her hands.
When my wife was delivered and set free and refilled it was a definite change in both me and her. Family members of mine told her that she wasn't full of the HolyGhost and was insinuating the same with me...it was pretty heart breaking because it was like they finally were revealing what they thought of us.
So the same person keeps trying to come up to my wife and lay hands on her and get overly loud...like attention getting loud.
We are like,"Why would we let you do this when you already think we aren't legitimately being used of God and you're saying the same things to us that the enemy is?"
It's almost like a Saul trying to compel Samuel to turn and worship before the people kind of thing....like,"Play along so I can look spiritual." and we aren't having any of it.

That was my carnality speaking... I should have prayed before I posted that. That's what I get by being led by my flesh.
