Whatever happens will be a disaster anyway. Trump has done to the GOP what Obama could never do. As bad as Obama was, at least for the most part they united around a common enemy (Obama's disastrous policies). But Trump has successfully created a havoc in the Republican party that will linger through the general election. If Trumps gets the nomination, a lot of people will sit it out (I would, whats the real difference between Trump and Hillary?). If Cruz gets the nomination, theres a chance, but many Donald supporters would be upset (who are the minority of republicans), and Donald may launch a 3rd party run just to hand the election to Hillary anyway and to spite the RNC. And if anyone other than Trump or Cruz gets the nomination, it will tick off 75% of the republican voters, and at least half that amount stay home in protest in November.
