Is this the churches job?

I was watching CNN earlier, and they were interviewing a man who formerly worked for the Bush administration. (I can't remember his name.) He suggested churches should be raising money to help pay illegal aliens fines for being in the country and help pay for them to become citizens. Is this a job for the church?

I do not think that is the mission of the church--or its responsibility either!
