Saying Hello to Old Friends

My ears were burning a bit in recent times. :-) I thought that I should register here and say hello to some old friends.

It's been quite a few years since my days with the Apostolic Network and the Good News Cafe.

I just wanted everyone to know that I am alive and kicking and that God has been good to me.

I don't do as much on the web these days as I used to. Mostly business stuff. However I have retained and still maintain the original Apostolic Website at http://apostolic-voice.org

I am part of a wonderful assembly we call the First Apostolic Church of Biddeford, in Biddeford, Maine. We love to have you visit if you are ever up our way.

In His Service,

Stan Hallett

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Thanks Praxeas!

KeptByTheWord, I will try. I actually repented more than once that I ever created the Good News Cafe. In short I grew very weary of the arguing.

Maintaining the Apostolic Network from the mid-90's to around 2001 was a real education for me. I did make some good connections though, and I did grow through it all. Friedrich Nietzsche, the German philosopher said "That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger. But then I'm not one for man-made philosophy. :-)

I hold to the Oneness view of the Godhead, but I am in the Assemblies of God.

Not really they preach One God messages. We worship the same God, we just see His nature different. They know our background and it is not an issue. They never questioned our Baptism, Holy Ghost or salvation. We serve and teach. God is good to us.
