Ha! That's funny. The "conservatism going down in flames" part. Watch who goes down in flames come November. Prepare for a GOP-led White House, Senate and House of Representatives...

We might desire someone more in line with our values, but from what we have seen so far the majority of the GOP supports Mitt.

Re: newt may drop out today
I still stand behind Newt. At least I haven't supported the candidate that the Elitist Republican Party has endorsed. The elitist party that have done nothing for our country.
Bob Beckel was right today on The Five- They've been in the tank for Romney. He does get some things right.
And I will keep my promise to crakjack - When and if Romney gets the full delegate count, you won't hear a peep out of me for or against him. I will vote for him, but I will not support him.
I received a letter from Mittens today. Deciding how I want to respond. Going to see if the Post Office lets you write - Return to Sender.

Gingrich won’t drop out Tuesday, no matter what happens in Delaware, spokesman says
Gingrich told NBC News this week that he is basing the future of his campaign on his performance in Delaware, where he has invested resources in the primary. If Gingrich does poorly in Delaware, his campaign spokesman R.C. Hammond told Yahoo News, the former House speaker plans to "reassess with supporters" but won't immediately suspend his campaign.
In that scenario, "Gingrich will keep his campaign schedule in North Carolina but reassess with supporters whether or not there is a path forward," Hammond said in an email.
If, however, Mitt Romney scores a "razor thin win" in Delaware, a "conservative coalition" could form around Gingrich, Hammond said.

Obama has money, the heart and soul of his party's base, and the national media.
Romney has money, but he can never buy the heart and soul of conservativism and the same media that is building him up now, will turn on him.
Therefore, Romney cannot beat Obama. He's missing two out of three key factors.
Some are claiming that any vote not for Romney would be a vote for Obama. Well that's what I heard four years ago about McCain. Now the Progressive elites at the RNC, their cheerleaders in the media and the other "dumb masses" who vote based on "good hair" and a smile that covers the willful lies ...want me to do it all again.
Well, you know what? Merely replacing Obama, with a moderate flip flop candidate like Mitt Romney who absolutely has no real plan, is absurd.
I think it's far more important to elect a Republican Congress than to elect Mitt Romney as President! I completely stand behind Newt Gingrich, and I absolutely will NOT vote for Obama or Mitt Romney!!! America needs a bold leader, with bold ideas and a comprehensive policy package with a pro-American energy, pro-American economic, and health care plan which benefits every American, not just the elite few Obama and Mitt Romney represent. Delusional is voting for a candidate who is actually just as liberal as Obama, and expecting a different outcome!!! Newt Gingrich forever!!!

Re: newt may drop out today
And another thing - LOL!
I'm convinced that the whole "anyone but Obama" thing was started by the Obama campaign because they knew the GOP would "settle" for the candidate with the largest bank account and throw a hail Mary.
If you check the numbers tonight, which I posted on another thread, a whole lot of voters were not in love with Romney even though he won.
For instance, last I checked: Rhode Island: 9,157 FOR Romney - 5,332 AGAINST. Delaware: 16,143 FOR Romney - 12,448 AGAINST. Pennsylvania: 458,833 FOR Romney - 333,067 AGAINST.
You can say a win is a win, but it doesn't look all that great for the GOP.
