So, why do you want him to be President? BTW: I don't believe the Romney has any intention of converting the nation to Mormonism. We have checks and balances in the US government, no president is able to control the direction of the country, by himself.

This is nonsense. If people abandon support for Romney because he's a Mormon and will allow the reelection of a Jeremiah Wright disciple to be president another 4 years, you will have only yourself to blame when the walls come crashing down. Mitt isn't my favorite choice for President, but by comparison he is a far better choice than the current Oval Office resident.

Sorry..but I think this camp-pain gets more confusing by the minute. Is there nobody of 'leadership material' willing to step up? I have not yet seen 'one' good option, neither to keep the present administration, or a beneficial replacement. We are doomed! On a good note...possibly the hoplessness of the state of our nation will cause many to seek peace elsewhere....and find Jesus.

Funny to read that on AFF when some would have us believe that to re-elect Obama would be the end of America and quite possibly the beginning of WWIII.

Obama has the media, so he is not by himself. The Supreme Court and the House of Representatives have put a check on Mr. Obama. I actually did think that someone might bring up your exact point!! LOL

To reelect Obama would be an unmitigated disaster for our economy and nation. Even with a Congress to hold him in check, the POTUS has so much power and influence. First of all, the chance he might be able to appoint more justices on the SCOTUS, as well as load the judiciary with liberal justices who do not respect our Constitution (see Ruth Ginsberg). He has neither the desire nor has he demonstrated the intention of making significant cuts to government spending. Even with a GOP led Congress, the POTUS can veto and force enough compromises that any significant change to the way they spend money will be neutered. It may not be the end of America and it may not start WWIII, but it will continue our nation down a path that diminishes our prosperity and our freedom. Not to mention the abysmal foreign policy in Middle East and our enslavement to foreign oil and this administrations enslavement to the green energy fantasy. Also the executive branch affects so many other areas like the Justice Dept, and the military and education, health and human services, etc. The many unseen effects expanding govt and enforcing policies, executive orders and such, I believe will allow Obama to exercise even more misguided liberal agenda items that harm this nation. I am saddened that you JD my friend are cavalier about the prospect of Obama's reelection and the sense I get that you feel people are simply overreacting.
