I disagree, technically with this statement.
I must say that I have a stronger disagreement with the UPC's Articles of Faith on this subject which says, "... the Lord Jesus Christ paid for the healing of our bodies
the same as salvation for our souls..."
This statement puts divine healing on a one-to-one basis with salvation - and that's just not right. Any statement that equates healing with salvation is wrong.
Of course, I could be wrong as well... in which case my offer to visit a Children's Hospital with anyone who says they can heal or "be used to heal" still stands.
We preach salvation in prisons where the sinners are found. Why doesn't anyone preach healing in a hospital where the sick are found?
BTW: I do believe in healing; I just think some folks make too big a deal out of it and end up hurting people and not healing anyone at all.
