The healthcare plans if passed will take away 2 million jobs. energy taxation. 2 million jobs. If we see a strong increase in minumum wage, that will be another 1 million jobs.

It is ok to let congress know we are concerned. Don't sound hostile or nasty if you call. All things work together for good. If the liberals vote for things that kill jobs, they will be looking for one next election. We have church tonight. I hear someone is planning a big speech tonight.

I liked some commentary from T.D. Jakes regarding work. People whine that their boss is mean or worse and their job is boring or the don't find it fulfillment. No where in he bible did God promise self actualization which is coupled with Maslow's heirarchy of needs.
after last night, we may have our insurance out of the account by the IRS and not enough left for rent and groceries

Can I mention that I hate my job and that it bores me to tears? I was actually happy when we went to 4 day work weeks. Especially since unemployment picks the fith day up.

My dad visited a Mennonite church once during vacation. He told me the message that Sunday morning and it has stuck with us both.

The preacher asked how many hours we spend at work during the week. The answer is usually at least 40+. He then asked how many hours a week we devote specifically to God's work. The answer is usually nowhere close to 40.

I believe Kae is on the right track in terms of this discussion.
