Friday AFF Day of Prayer for Jobs

After reading Renda's thread about seeing the glass half full I think it would be a good idea to have one day set aside for prayer for the jobs of all our posters.

Many jobs are being threatened right now and would make a hardship on any of us to have to deal with that at this time.

What do you think?

Maybe Friday, since some jobs are in immediate jeapordy?

I will be glad to do this.

Re: AFF Day of Prayer

I learned a long time ago, the quickest way to take your mind from your own concerns is to pray for someone else. This I will certainly do.

And as one in the line of fire, I would gladly welcome everyone's prayers. Thank you, Esther, for thinking of this...

Re: AFF Day of Prayer

As one who frequently calls out others names & who is in a similar position, I am open to a day of specific prayer!

It is certainly needed!

Re: AFF Day of Prayer

Count us in. Also, we request a few prayers for us. I am trying to get my disability started and they are dragging their feet. We need to get our life settled.

Re: AFF Day of Prayer

I will remember each of you.

I felt the Holy Ghost as I was reading these responses.

I believe God is in this.

Let us hold up our brothers and sisters as though it was us, for it could be us.

Re: AFF Day of Prayer

Many years ago a prayer partner of mine told me the day would come here in America where the jobs would be so scarce that only one member per family could have a job.
