Anyone know Thomas Weisser?

Does anyone know Thomas Weisser, the UPCI minister who did the books like "Jesus name baptism through the centuries" and others?

I don't know if he is still upc as I am not a part of the union, but others may know.

I enjoy reading some of his articles as they prove that Jesus name baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with tongues did NOT just start again in 1901, but has existed throughout the centuries from Pentecost on. (Kinda knocks out the old teaching of a restoration of the "lost" Gospel)

I stumbled across a preaching tape from 2002 where he was teaching at the Church I attended and listened to it again. Excellent material!

I would make it available if some want a copy, it is on cassette only.

We have a couple of his books, but never met him.

Re: Anyone know Thomas Weisser?

I've heard him preach somewhere in my travels, I just can't remember.

I am thinking maybe Alabama or Florida, but I know I have heard him speak at least once in person.

I sure figured Pel would have some thoughts on this thread... He can say it better than I.

I would love a copy. I read some of his books when I first received the revelation.
There was also a book by a professor at ORU Dr. Paul Chappel wrote, he wrote and documented the Holy Ghost thru the centuries. It was awesome, he is a walking history book.

Re: Anyone know Thomas Weisser?

I have his books and heard him once many years back. Don't know anything current about him.

Did you check the UPCI website for him?

Re: Anyone know Thomas Weisser?

I have heard him preach/teach many years ago and read the books he had written up to that point. I can tell you that the editor for one publishing company stated that either he was dishonest or didn't know what he was reading because his book was off from the first footnote. I don't remember which book it was he was looking at.

I would like the info on that book if what you say is true. I am not doubting you as anyone can fabricate something, I would like to substantiate that if true though.

I kinda enjoyed what I was hearing on the tape, it was thought provoking.
