Cooking a special lunch tomorrow
A friend of ours is a lawyer and she has been so kind helping us in so many ways and helping those we take to her office. She LOVES to eat and has wanted me to cook for her for some time so tomorrow I am cooking lunch for her.
She wants to experiment something REAL American...so I am frying chicken, barbequing some pork, and making a meat loaf...
I plan to serve mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, rice, deviled eggs, cooked cabbage and a salad.
My daughter in law in making deserts...
Anyone got any other ideas?

I thought of that too but my daughter in law offered to make deserts I didn´t say anything...I LOVE apple pie and icecream...I love to eat...as you can tell...

That's alot of food! Is she bringing the army along with her to help eat it all?

well, I am cooking small amount. She is bringing 2-3 with her and then there are 12 of us here to eat...besides whoever that might show up...
