The midnight hour!

The bible says no man will know the day nor the hour when Jesus comes back for his children.But what about the seasons?I know that through history every one thaught he was on his way at any moment.Ive always had a hard time with the book of REVALATIONS I was wondering has every thing in prophesy been fullfilled yet? Are we close to the rapture? This brings me to another thaught is the rapture before the tribulation or after or somewhere in between?

Re: The midnight hour!

as far as prophecies that need to be fulfilled, we are waiting for the further economic and political integration of the world. Revelations predicts a one world economy and a one government. There are still steps to be taken to see these prophecies fulfilled.

I believe the rapture will occur right before the wrath of God is poured out at the end of the tribulation period.

Re: The midnight hour!

one world government - Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.

one world economy - Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or upon their forehead;
Rev 13:17 and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, even the name of the beast or the number of his name.

Re: The midnight hour!

Here is what is witholding the revelation of Jesus Christ:

3: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4: Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5: Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6: And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

The Man of Sin must come forth on the Earth and fulfill his prophesied role.

Now you know what must happen before Jesus is revealed in his time.

there is no scripture that specifies the time of the rapture. matt 24 says "after the tribulation of those days". implying that the rapture will not take place till after the mark of the beast. irvin baxter believes the rapture and the 2nd coming are the same event. endtime.com

Verse 3 is translated by some as:
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a catching away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
