What Are Your Plans For Fathers Day?

I was wondering what your plans are for Fathers Day?
As I stated before, both our parents are gone so we will just celebrate ourselves.
My wife will cook breakfast (I do it a lot on Sundays) & then we will go to Church.

After Church it is off to dinner!

Heading to J'bur in the morning to my dad's. My brother and his family are going to meet me there.

While dad and his wife are at church, we are going to start the grill up and have lunch cooking when they get in from church. Steaks, corn on the cob (grilled), baked potatoes and salad.

I baked a fresh peach cake and tunnel of fudge cake for dessert.

It'll surprise him that we are there plus to have lunch all ready!

Just finished taking the Brisket off the grill. Strawberry Cheesecake almost finished baking.

After that we're going boating and fishing. Kids coming by this evening.

Sunday morning we have an a.m. service with dinner on the grounds. We will then come home and take our kids water skiing. Fun!

No, Roscoe doesn't get to go!

Well, late Sunday night I will be picking my 12 year old son (and my dad who is traveling with him) up at the Mesa airport. They are both spending a week here from Wisconsin.

We are having our 4 month old son dedicated at Christ Church-Nashville (which is our old church before we moved) and then dinner some where up in Nashville.

I am going to go buy my wife flowers and a card and make sure she knows that No WAY could I be the daddy that I am without her being the wife she is.

My extended family is coming to my house. I am fixing a "man" dinner! BBQ Ribs, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, fresh green beans, rolls, and for dessert- Butter Rum cake with ice cream. I am gaining weight just typing this.

Kids and grandkids are coming here tomorrow afternoon and are taking my husband out for lunch. And bringing some presents I am sure.
He (my husband) went out today and bought a wading pool for the little grandkids, a play set, and a new swing set as ours is falling down.
My Dad has been gone for years but I will be thinking of him.

Absolutely nuttin. I am, however, planning on going grocery shopping tomorrow. One day is pretty much the same as any other to me. There are some holidays we make plans for, like 4thof July and Thanksgiving.
