Churches in Bay area

I will be spending quite a bit of time in the San Fran / Silicon Valley area over the next few months. Does anyone have church recommendations?

Depends on what you are looking for... Lot's of different options, depending on your point of reference. Where are you coming from?

Yep! Possible relocation. Kind of scary, but might be a good change.

Memphis, moderate UPC. I'm a so-called 3-stepper, but more principle based than rule based on standards. I'm a little frightened of CA for that reason.

Thanks. I actually checked out their website last week. I really liked their philosophy. Also, JG was instrumental in winning my sis-in-law to the Lord, so I've heard good things about him.

Have you been to a service there? Do you know how big it is?

Yes I have been to a few, hmm I'd say there was about 200 -250 people.

Jeff is a friend of ours, we were actually thinking of relocating to SF Bay Area to go to Jeff's Church but our foot steps were redirected.

Thanks. That's awesome. From what I know right now, I would say this is probably the best fit for my husband & I.

Re: Churches in Bay area

If I were in this area I would go to the church discussed above. I have listened to many of their messages and teaching lessons. Even though they are UPC I could probably fit in there.
