The heart of a servant...

Yesterday I was in my brother's home and my SIL and I were talking about all of the deaths that have occurred recently in their church (four if I am not mistaken), as well as the recent death of one of our members.

She said that a wife of one of the elders had called re this, as Bro. Hoover's children are members of her church. The elder's wife was checking on what she could be doing on her end to assist the family here.

My SIL then related to me that this dear lady was preparing a funeral dinner in her home, to be served there, for one of the families in her church...the second one in nearly as many days.

I began to think of what a servant this woman is.

To look at her, she doesn't 'stand out' in the crowd, but then she does not seek to. Her aim and goal is not the attention for a job well done...she just loves doing it.

If I mentioned her name, only two or three would even know who she is, but to me she is a great lady.

Her heart is for others...may it forever be so here as well!!
