Congress makes the laws the President sees that they are executed. The President can influence, but Congress holds the purse strings.

The president has veto powers. The president set's policies and then asks congress to act. They go hand in hand

Private payroll manager ADP reports today that their analysis shows the private sector lost 39,000 jobs in what is usually considered an important indicator prior to the government release, which comes on Friday
Left wing talking points still don't match up with facts for some reason.

If I can choose to believe either Coadie, the execs at Goldman Sachs, Fed Chairman Bernanke, or Warren Buffett, the last person I will choose is Coadie.

JD. why are we losing jobs in September? Was your claim of things getting better true or false?
By the way, Goldman Sachs is my largest client over the last decade. They believe me.

Unemployment claims drop.
Job openings rise.
However, things just aren't getting better, right?
How about this-- you choose to believe partisan drivel that would keep America languishing in gloom and doom, believe that our Democrat President and his Administration can do and will do nothing right for America.
I choose to believe that even Democrats have a vested interest in seeing America succeed-- hence their actions, and America's successful recovery from what could have been a terrible financial depression.

Unemployment claims don't include those that have just quit looking for jobs
I choose to look at the facts and not be swayed by emotional opinion
Democrats might want the US to succeed but what is success to them? They showed it...priority 1 was not jobs but socialized medicine and the government taking part ownership in big businesses, creating more red tape, making for a bigger more expensive government, which will require more taxes even from the middle class eventually
Real success, to me, is to create more tax payers, not raise taxes.
Real success does not penalize businesses for doing business, unlike some Democrats who want to increase taxes on businesses that do business outside of the country by exporting goods
See the Democratic business model of California which has chased away big employer businesses out of the state due to high taxes and other financial penalities.
See the Democrats want to offer a ton of free services to everyone, including those that don't work and their method was to tax the rich. Tax the rich more and tax their businesses
They should focus on other things like how much in debt the state is in pension benefits, they should stop bowing down to the unions especially the corrupt teachers union which will never ever ever allow an underperforming teacher to be fired

The Social Security Administration sent about 89,000 stimulus payments of $250 each to dead and incarcerated people — but almost half of them were returned, a new inspector-general’s report has found.
The agency was charged with distributing the one-time payments, worth about $13 billion in total, as part of the economic-stimulus package passed in February 2009. Most of the payments were made in May 2009.

No wonder. We are stimulating dead people At least Obama will get their vote.
