Reagan's speech dedicating the space shuttle to the Taliban was way better than this one. Makes me want to call my congressman and tell him to send lots of cash and guns to anyone who wants them.

I guessed you don't get out much. Their views reflect the views of billions, not a few million bigoted zealots claiming self defense over stolen property.

Take it up with Jehovah, pal. but of course the blood thirsty psychos that occupied ancient Canaan weren't much different than the psychos who you want "re-take" the land now.

You speak for God now as if you pick and choose which descendents of Abraham get what? How important that must feel.

Re: Benjamin Netanyahu addresses Congress today
The level of self-delusion here is incredible. The facts of history are indisputable. The Arab nations and the Muslim world have been fighting the nation of Israel ever since they became a nation in 1948. Israel was willing to coexist according to the United Nations partition. Their Arab neighbors went to war against them. The Jews fought back and won. The war in 1956, the war in 1967, the war in 1973, and all other conflicts were the result of Israel's enemies attacking them and/or preparing to do so.
Israel on numerous occasions has gone to the negotiating table with the Palestinians and made concessions. The Arabs cannot even recognize Israel's right to exist. They are never satisfied with what Israel is willing to concede. Israel is willing to allow the Palestinians to exist as a state. They cannot return the favor. It's obvious that most of the Arab nations and the Muslim world do not believe in Israel's right to exist.
So what is Israel supposed to do?
Netanyahu eloquently repeats Iran's history. For anyone to think that Iran is just some nation who has the right to nuclear weapons like everyone else is either so blind by partisan politics they choose to ignore the obvious or they are extremely naïve. That's like saying a gun in the hand of a mass murderer is the same as a gun in the hand of a police officer. If you can't see the difference between the United States and Israel possessing nuclear weapons versus countries like North Korea and Iran possessing nuclear weapons then there really is no point in arguing with you. You are delusional.

What was Netanyahu's suggestion?
What is your suggestion?
Is it worth American boots on the ground to stop the Iranians from
developing their own technology?

Netanyahu's suggestion was not to allow Iran a nuclear weapon. I guess the media didn't listen to the speech or they are trying to, probably the latter, gloss over the whole point of the speech - no nukes for Iran.
Why? Because as even O stated, yesterday - "The Prime Minister appropriately pointed out that the bond between Israel and America is unbreakable and on that point, I agree. He also pointed out that Iran has been a dangerous regime and continues to engage in activities that are contrary to the interest of the United States, to Israel and to the region. And on that, we agree."
People keep looking for a suggestion that was made very clearly - no nukes for Iran.
"If Iran wants to be treated like a normal country, act like a normal country." - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
