One thought that I had, is one thing about your testimony is, in regards to racism.
That a person doesn't have to be a part of the KKK to be a racist. I believe a great many Christian people are racist--but perhaps feel justified of it in some way.
In any regard it is an issue that we must free our hearts from. If that makes sense.

Good point. I am from the deep south. Ive had more than one ugly conversation with a family memeber who wanted to speak in racisit tones around my son. A fellow sure can get ugly when you call him on his racism.
I am glad to see anyone come out of that kind of stuff. I know God had to change my heart too.
Louisiana, is suffering today because they would not elect a person of color last election for Governor. he is running again. I hope the folks in La. have had a change of heart.

Thanks and I agree Jeanie, we as Christians must remember that it is ok to hate the sin, but we are to love the sinner.
well, why didnt you tell everyone in the state of Louisiana that about 4 years ago? it sure would have saved the state a big mess!

Yes I remember that as I was there, it was in 2005. Let us pray that if they do get their permits that it in no way turns out like 2005 again.

I remember when the riots broke out and it was all over the local news pre-empting all the shows on TV and everything - my son, who was 11 at the time was terrified that that meant that we were going to have a war right here in our country and that it was starting in Toledo, of all places!!

They are not of God, because through God's grace there is no race. Many of them that were there were neo-Naizi's which don't even believe In God, others that were there like the Klan are just using God's Word to make it look like what they are teaching is of God when in fact it is not because God does not teach us to hate others or to look down on them because of the color of there skin.
We need to pray that they don't get their permit to come back, that somehow God will not allow them to return again. Let put it in God's hands and allow His will to be done.

Joe looks like you have your work cut out for you, I really feel you will have a big influence in these areas because you understand what is going on better than most people, and now that you have the Lord on your side you have the ability to affect many people.

The south is really different in this regard than the west coast.
I see it here, mostly because we have a big influx from the border & many Asian nationalities reside here.
It crops up in conversations a lot because of the varying life styles, when it becomes about having animosity towards them, its not right.
