I listened to part of the video. It's not the type of music I prefer to listen to and I will not play music that way. If it does something for you, that's ok.
their songs are very vertical in praise and I love that.
but they have just a touch of a funk sound and that is way cool.
Great band. Lead singer has such a strong voice.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Here is a great pre trib song! I really liked the Sweet Comfort Band in the 70's. One of the great early Contemporary Christian Music groups. This clip is of their Lead Singer (much older now) singing one of Sweet Comfort's biggest hits.

When I think of deep and moving Christian music I think this song is right there at the top (pardon me while I remove my tongue from being planted firmly in my cheek).
All I can say is that I hope Nate keeps his day job. Having said that this video has over 300,000 view on Youtube and another version with terrible audio has almost 1.5 million views! A song that apparently is testifying to folks, educating them as to what a Pentecostal is.

I promise this is the last one.......for tonight. This is a clip of a song from Kenneth Phillips Promiseland Church in Austin, Texas (exUPC, left in 1978 over the tv issue). I am familiar with this church and know that they sing many songs with deep lyrics so if that is going to be your complain with this one then chill out.
I think this is a good example of a theme, freedom in this case, that can be sung in a catchy melody to get a group of people like minded in an aspect of God or our walk with him. Songs don't always need to have complex lyrics to serve their purpose.
BTW - The sister of a senior member of the AFF family attends this church and is a praise and worship singer / choir member / soloist.
