Re: Isaiah 3 and jewelry...
Glad to see you guys are still at it LOL acctualy Im not. Remminds me of my son in law and I.
I had come to see the light and he was in a very conservitive church. Preached you should not wear facial hair and such like. Anyway we would discuse doctrine everytime they came to visit. And it would get heated. At least we loved each other so we knew it was OK. But my wife would think we were going to blows in the next minuet. LOL After two years of this I finaly listened to my wife. And quit argueing. But I did send up one prayer. "God if what you are showing me is of you show my son in law" Two years later they came to me asking for clearification on these passages that you all have been going around for the last several pages.
The moral you cannot teach someone without a teachable spirit. God has to change the spirit first. So although it has been fun and real it has not been real fun LOL you guys have fun Im out of hear.

HAHAHAHAHAHA yourself.....Why did God repent that he ever made man? If angels can fall over ornaments, what do you think the possibility that sinful humanity can??
You're a hoot Baron & have much to learn.....

I have no time or desire to continue this meddling. Go on living your life happy and with good conscience, I'll do the same.

Sounds good to me...God will be the Judge in the end. As for me & my house, we will believe Scripture, which we've been discussing for 65 [not 100] pages now. Looks like you have problems counting as well as reading !

More ad hominem's from the Jeffrey bench devoid of any interactive substance. I'll just assume that you have none, since you offer the same!

Unfortunately your son-in-law has opened himself up to deception. THAT'S what has changed in "his spirit." You'll be judged by the Word of God w/ plainly instructs the NT church, "N-O-T with gold, pearls, or costly apparel." Do you believe these words?
What God needs to change is your shattered lenses in reading His Bible, which is forever settled in heaven. Repent & obey His Word.......

Re: Isaiah 3 and jewelry...
So it seems the whole jewelry debate hinges on "not with". No supporting commands in it the OT law or elsewhere.

I think our friend is definitely shooting from the hip on this one.
He is relying on nothing other than a desire to defend the evil of jewelry to make such ridiculous statements.
He is suggesting Lucifer's jewels weren't permissive or holy PRIOR to his Fall.
There's a lot more that could be said on this one, but I'll just leave it alone and stand amused.

Re: Isaiah 3 and jewelry...
Someone tells a young father to "encourage your son with praise, not with gifts". If the young father was rdp he would proceed to never buy his son a birthday, Christmas, wedding, or any other gift, ever again. So strong is the UC rule-based mindset for which all of salvation is tightly bound.
