BP,
I watched the first few minutes. The conversational tone does not bother me at all and can be effective in this format.
However the headphones have to go!!!!!
So my two pieces of advice would be;
1. Headphones must go. Use just a mic
2. Follow Monkeyperson's advice about a backdrop. If your ministry has a logo
you can cut one out of styrofoam, paint it, and attach it to the backdrop
to look even more professional. Same with letters spelling out the ministry
name,etc. They will be three dimensional and "pop" on the screen.

I'd have to be so far back, that I'd be on Saturn in order to look like a stick figure...

BP, listen to CC. He used to produce Kenneth Phillips' broadcast here in Austin.

A dark backdrop seems to have worked better for me than more light on my church recording... off the white wall, more light was just more white...

Chubby fingers are just an excuse... I can show you a guy with the biggest hands and fingers that I've ever seen and he's the best guitar player I've ever seen. It's all in how much time your willing to practice...

Trust me, JM, I am willing to practice. I am also trying to find the right program to use to help me learn.

I've bought a lot of programs... the best program you can get that I've found is Fretboard Logic. Musiciansfriend.com has it...
