If it's true, then I feel sorry for her, but I think if she gets off with less than a murder charge, anyone in any abusive situation can just commit murder and it will be overlooked and hands slapped, but no real punishment. I think it's pretty scary.
Oh, I don't think she needs to get off at all, she murdered the man and no matter what the reason is, it wasn't self-defense so she is guilty.

Couldn't it be seen as self defense from the mental anguish this bozo put her through?

Doubt it since he was apparently asleep and she shot him in the back.

I have no doubt in my mind he was a creep.

This situation unfortunately brings out what's wrong with society. We have so many shades of grey that we lose sight of the facts. Moral relativism has even crept into our religious thinking.

I think in this instance it's more about self preservation than punishment. It's not wrong to leave an unfaithful spouse that is simply not repentant.

I would certainly think that would be the right thing to do (walk away). But we don't know all of the circumstances.

You said those comments about his statements on the forum, not about him personally. So it's NOT a personal attack.

If anyone reports it, it's just a waste of their time, and ours.
I didn't report it, btw

The abused became the abuser and now she will pay for her abusive ways.

How does the church deal with this issue?
Just tonight, I was reading a post on another forum by someone who portrays himself as an ultracon, but has struggled mightily to control his internet viewing habits and dialogue.

He was railing against tv, and casting all sorts of aspersions on those that wish to use it in ministry. The hypocrisy was stunning and wide open for all to see.

Crazy.

LOL! Such is human nature. We see it in others but don't always see it in ourselves.
