I haven't yet seen anyone really stand up and defend Nicene or Cappodian Trinitarism... occasionally there will be some semi-Arian stuff .. but thats just because Modalistic Monarchism has its flaws too.
Many of the liberals will defend principles and the fact that people will derive convictions from their principles. There are clear cut yes and no issues... but some of it is cultural and its ok to lump it in that category.
Both the libs and cons have their heros and what not. I gladly called someone a false teacher and he would be considered a ultra-con ... i've seen folks like Kenneth Phillips and Sam Smith of the AWCF get thrown under the bus by Cons.. suck it up and realize that my hero is your villian and vice versa.
As far as I know none of the major posters here are into TBN style seed faith teachings, nor do they push a extreme Word of Faith viewpoint. Thats a tried old scarecrow arguement that cons can take a whack at. Update your illustrations, they may have more impact. Tons of UPCI pastors are getting ready to go on local access cable and even network cable soon (some are waiting for the front runners to get shot first so they can slip in when its safe)
You don't hear us whining about how rough the "legalists" are do you? Then don't take a swipe at the "libertines" and how corrosive they are to your world view since they are willing to push back intellectually.
