I went back and viewed them! Love the Italian village picture over your bed!!! Love the giraffe on the coffee table, the chest in the dining room, the pitcher on the top kitchen cabinet.......... LOL!
You did great, Renda!! Love everything! Well, not the blue plates. I don't like blue - what is up with that?! LOL! I know - it's a primary color - I never like primary colors. BUT, the plates look great in your house and how you arranged them - perfect with the ribbons!

I bought those years ago and never hung them up - - I was going to give them to my mom (she collected blue/white things). I didn't want to do purple/sage in the dining room, so decided to use the blue to be different.
Found the blue vase and pitcher at an antique store to tie in with them. It's growing on me. Sort of a tribute to my mom I suppose.

Absolutely love your home! I am so happy for you - even though I don't "know" you! I do have one question - do you "collect" crosses and if so, have you done it for a while? The wall in what I assumed to be the entry fascinated me. You just don't see this type of thing in most "Apostolic" homes. Maybe we should ??? The wall with the blue plates is great also! I'm with PO here, I don't care for blue - it just isn't my color - but I love the arrangement and what a special memory of your mom! Thank you for sharing the pics - and I would LOVE to see the closet with all the shoes! - why be embarrassed?

I started collecting the crosses about four years ago. I'm very careful in what I choose as some are too Catholic looking. I guess it is something we could discuss, but I feel what Jesus did for me on the Cross is something to always remember. It's not like I kneel and worship that wall - - lol!!!
Oh lord......not sure I'm even ready to think about Christmas decorating!!
