It is true and they were using similar tactics in other places. Our people on the ground in other places (way down in Texas as well) were reporting they were having to refute the claim before the primary. Of course, once that type of thing gets out, it's hard to stop it. It was voter fraud to quickly push Gingrich out this last go round. How do you try to win against that? Disenfranchising the voters. That is another reason why Romney looks so much like Obama to me.

I didn't see anything as glaring as the lies that Romney put out. On big whopper was at the Florida debate when he said his Fannie and Freddie holdings were in a "blind trust". That turns out not to be true.
According to Romney's financial disclosure forms, he owned somewhere between $250,000 and $500,000 in a mutual fund called the Government Obligation Fund. That fund invested in debt notes of various government entities, including Fannie and Freddie.
Because those assets were considered a charitable trust and not a blind trust, Romney could have reviewed them himself. That was what Gingrich was talking about in the last debate and Romney denied that, saying it was a blind trust only.
Then you can go to YouTube and find out what Romney's opinion on the "blind trust".

Mark Levin even called out Romney and Chris Christie for their continued lies about Gingrich on the ethic violations he was cleared of.

They came down hard on Gingrich after they saw he could win after SC. And they lied and monied their way down the road. You know what I think? I think if Romney wins, he will effect some change which is normal, but I believe the RNC really wants someone they can manage and Gingrich would have been a powerhouse of change. He was the only man on the platform with the brains and the guts to do it. Perry described him as Churchillian - I agree.

I am very well connected. BTW, I happened to speak to Jake Tapper last week. He's a really nice guy.
