Re: Sarah Palin, Todd Bentley, and Dominion Theolo
Burk, lets look at the quote again:
"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God's will."
I see you havent addressed the primary point of OPCarl's post, which is that you came in and sounded the alarm on something Sarah Palin supposedly said, which she didnt actually say.
You claimed she said that "the Iraq war was from God"... when in fact she was praying that the soldiers would be doing God's will in what they were doing over there... very big difference.
Whether intentionally or unintentionally, you misrepresented what she said. This is the kind of alarmism that causes the spread of a lot of untrue rumors on the internet, and even serves to damage the reputation of good people.
If you have issues with Palin's pastor, C Peter Wagner, Todd Bentley etc, thats another matter entirely. But theres really no need to drag Sarah Palin into this. She has said nothing to indicate she's some kind of extremist or any such thing.
Maybe to even restore your own credibility it would do good for you to at least acknowledge that you misrepresented Ms Palin's words; thats a whole lot bettter than just glossing over that fact, as you seem to be doing.

Like I said in the beginning, I am not into politics at all. My King is Jesus. Whatever Leader He puts into office is His choice, and because so, that’s okay with me.
But I do find it ironic that some of you here saying that it doesn't matter what a politician believes are the same ones who would have a problem with a Muslim being president. Now you can’t have it both ways. You can’t say that a politician’s religious influence wouldn’t cloud her political decisions, and then say it would if the person is Muslim.

I hope they are, and that they are also pro-all-other people too! After all, THAT is the Christian way to be.

I believe the Sarah Palin believes that God is in control. Whatever God desires to do on earth will be done, and there's NOTHING any leader can do to change that!
I see nothing wrong with praying that your decisions, that carry grave consequences, are in God's will. After all, who wants to be on the wrong side of God!!
Also, I don't think Gov. Palin is gullible enough to make someone's prophecy self-fulfilled! To think so, you have a very low opinion of her intelligence.
She seems pretty sharp to me from what I've seen and read about her.

Huh? The people vote the leader in office. God doesn't DO everything.

I think anyone who would suggest that Sara Palin or Obama would lead our country into a war based on prophesy is naive and clueless. They might, however, believe that all wars that happen are part of prophesy and God's plan. With that I agree.
The bible says that God uses governments to carry out justice against the wicked. That would mean that wars are used by God to defeat wickedness such as Islamic terrorism.
I say, Go God! Way to use the greatest military in the world to crush the wicked who refuse to repent.

Two quick questions V B... are you going to Jeff City tonight? And should I wear a "APOSTOLIC PALINITE" sign?
