Ferd, pride is a very difficult thing to overcome. I am sure you already know that. Maybe 1Cor will eventually apologize for making himself appear more educated than what he really is, but maybe he won't. Either way, I don't think it's worth the time it takes to dwell on it very much. This is the internet, afterall. Have you ever heard that song about the guy who is much cooler online? It's done by a country singer who likes to do silly songs like that. Maybe 1Cor was just trying to be cooler online than what he is in real life.
