Re: I'm Buying a House!!!

That's very exciting, Renda! My poor family has been doing all the work with my move while I lay on the couch. Apparently I am in for a fairly long recovery (maybe a month). It is very hard to lay there and not even pack a box!! I haven't even been to the other place in over a week. Well, maybe my husband won't want to move again after this!! LOL!!

Well, that's not really a good thing ---- I'd rather NOT have to pack and move, but if I'm going to I want to be the one doing it!!!

I sure hope you get better soon!

Re: I'm Buying a House!!!

The comforter I got for my bedroom is such a weird color - - it's ice blue, but then it's not blue either. I've been looking for fabric to make curtains - - - the only thing I found close that I liked was $39 a yard (of course).

I found the PERFECT fabric today - - it was on sale for $11.99 a yard.................it was exactly what I was looking for too!

I'm going to go ahead and make them so they'll be ready to hang at the new house!

Also, bought new hardware for the kitchen cabinets - - they were normally $5.97 each on sale for $2.97 - - woohoo! It's all coming together!

Hey Renda,

We are moving this weekend. Or maybe I should say my family is. I have been doing nothing besides laying on the couch. I am off on medical leave now until July 10th. My daughter said "Which is harder, moving while you're moving or NOT moving while you're moving?" And I said "It's definitely harder to NOT move while you're moving." I feel kind of out of control of things. Things keep getting packed and disappearing. I will not even be deciding where things go in my kitchen unless I get to feeling better. I will have to move them later if I don't like where they get put! This has been a challenge. I can't wait to feel better!
