Berk, I am about three to four feet away from this cam. The camera adjusts the light level automatically. It can be fun. You really ought to try it.

A lot of computer camera users use filters so the lighting isn't as harsh...this can be cheap too, a simple plastic film taped in front of it to soften the light. If possible, NEVER use flourescent lighting.
The reason I give this info is to help you have a better product, thats all, not meant to criticize or be mean.

Trust me. I will not take it as such. Thanks for all the advice. I'll take all I can get.
My only problem is that flourescent lights is all we use in this house. Saves on the power bill. Might have to use an alternative light source for the production.

When you state, "I'm the big cheese of a ministry (or whatever) perception is reality..so that is why I talk about background, because if you look like it's in your bedroom, it doesn't bring across a ministry, just a dude with a computer camera.
I know, I know, the Word should be enough...but not to people who don't know....

BTW, I am trying to learn the guitar. But, my fingers seem too chubby for this. Any advice on this will help as well.
